Banja - Gamzigradska Spa
Gamzigradska Banja (Gamzigrad Spa)
is situated in the eastern Serbia, at the height of
160 m above sea level.
It
is said for Gamzigradska Banja that it is "a warm
water in a cold river". Natural springs of warm
mineral water are situated in the riverbed of the river
Crni Timok and on its left bank.
Natural and technical conditions are suitable for training
of football players, as well as of other athletes, especially
because of the constant presence of the team of experts
who are engaged in athletes' rehabilitation and preparations.
In the near vicinity of the Spa there are ruins of
the Roman City Felix Romuliana.
Picnics to Zlotske pecine (caves), the Borsko and Grlisko
Lakes, monastery Suvodol, etc. could be organized in
the Spa.
The guests have at their disposal swimming pool, fitness
room, small sport fields, tennis court, soccer field,
etc.
Curative Factors:
Thermal-mineral waters have a temperature of 42 degrees
Centigrade.
Recommended for:
Rheumatic and degenerative diseases, diseases of the
digestive tract organs, peripheral bloodvessels and
gynecological diseases.
Treatment Methods:
Physiotherapy, drinking and bathing in the mineral waters.
